Take aways from my morning devotions: When the waves of life (problems, loads of work, the needs of many, anxiety, and fear) block your view of the Savior, REMEMBER, it’s Jesus himself that reaches down to you and to me, just like he did for Peter. It’s Him, that saves us. I was reminded this morning that this is the life of faith. It’s not my work but his work of love toward me that I receive – that is Christianity.
Peter, who boldly walked on water by his faith, soon after sunk (anybody?) but then….was lifted up in his sinking, in his crisis – ONLY by the hand of Jesus.
Give me Jesus all day long!
